Welcome to House of Sweetwater — where Spirit spills the tea. This isn’t just ; it’s a ministry for women ready to trust themselves again. I help women rebuild confidence and sharpen spiritual discernment — learn to ready energy, intention and the spirit operating in relationships. I work with women who something real and later realized it wasn’t, who knew something was off but gave them the benefit of the doubt, who had the dream but went anyway — and paid for it.

If that’s you, I get it. I’ve been there. This isn’t weakness — it’s wisdom waking up. You just need to tighten up your discernment, and I can help.

Welcome to my house. Pull up a chair and grab a cup so you can sip this tea Spirit’s trying to show you.

Hi. I’m Madame Tonya.

I’m a Modern-Day Medicine Woman, Herbalist, Seer, and the Founder of House of Sweetwater™. I didn’t get here through perfect prayers or peaceful meditations. I got here through dreams that warned me, spirits that tested me, and hard-earned wisdom from walking through relationship fire—but refusing to be burned.

For more than two decades, I held sacred space behind the chair as a celebrated hairdresser and founder of a beloved natural hair brand in Houston. What began as beauty work became heart work — helping women feel seen, safe, and restored. Over time, I realized I wasn’t just tending to crowns, but to spirits. That journey led me from beauty behind the chair into the deeper work of spiritual and emotional healing.

I come from a powerful lineage of prayer warriors, seers, and gifted women who knew how to call down Spirit when something needed to move. My mother, a devoted intercessor, taught me by example the power of the Word, and my beloved great, great aunt — now nearly a hundred years old — still ministers from her home, carrying forward our ancestral inheritance of faith and spiritual service. Their example shaped me into who I am today, a woman who listens to Spirit and helps others do the same.
